Airport pavements are generally thicker and stronger than road pavements and should be built with High Performance Asphalts, focusing on High Stiffness Modulus and Rutting resistance for Binder and Base Courses as well as good ride quality and skid resistance for surface courses.

Formula 1 & Other racetracks roadways undergo very particular and highly aggressive solicitation.
